Glenn Maynard BA (UNSW), Grad Dip Mgmt, Dip FP, Cert IV Financial Services, AMC

Glenn Maynard is an accredited ASSOB Sponsor, qualified broker and financial advisor. He established and built up the finance broking firm The Mortgage Store between 1996 and 2006 into a diversified financial services business and originated more than $1 billion in residential and commercial finance. He is currently a Director of the boutique broking and financial advisory firm Artisan Finance and is a Board Member and Non Executive Director of commercial finance company Think Tank.

He has operated in the debt markets for more than 14 years and has developed an acute knowledge of finance structures, products and services.

He has been actively involved in Private Equity capital raisings for his own business ventures as well as advising other clients through the capital raising process.

Glenn is a passionate and experienced entrepreneur who loves the excitement and challenges in working with other entrepreneurs' and supporting them in realising their goals and aspirations

Paul Toohey BSc (UNSW), Grad Dip Mgmt

Paul Toohey is an accredited ASSOB Sponsor and start-up advisor. Paul has over 20 years of experience launching companies in Europe and the Asia Pacific region including online media and financial services companies, wireless operators and cloud offerings. He has performed numerous roles in the start-ups including CIO, Programme and Operations Lead and Managing Director. Paul has worked with entrepreneurs whilst based in Sydney, London, Paris and Shanghai.

Paul has successfully raised capital for business operating both as independent companies and also as new division of multinational enterprises.

Paul is a pragmatic and passionate leader who enjoys working with other entrepreneurs during the early stages of their business.

Selina Kern B. Eng, B.A. (University of Ontario, Canada)

Selina Kern works with Zoom Capital as a business advisor.

She has considerable experience as a Senior Consultant with a major International training and consulting firm.

Previous roles include process and performance consulting. As General Manager for a large office fit-out company, Selina was responsible for the delivery and management of process performance initiatives, product development, manufacturing operations and overall formalisation of the business service and delivery models.

Her core skills include Project Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making. This supports our clients by helping them identify and implement improvement in behaviours, improve efficiency in delivery processes and provides specific project outcomes.
